Whether it be business or other forms of projects like community services projects or a social engagement, funds are definitely needed and these funds can be gotten in so many ways. Funds can be gotten family and friends, personal savings, donations loans or grants.

According to Wikipedia, grants are non-repayable funds or products disbursed or given by one party (grant makers), often a government department, corporation, foundation or trust, to a recipient, most a times, a nonprofit organization, educational institution, business or an individual. In order to receive a grant, some form of idea presentation called “Grant Writing” also often referred to as either a proposal is required.

The course also outlines the different types of funders, what you as a grant seeker should consider when developing your project idea and how you believe it could be funded, understanding how a proposal will be reviewed and the financial concerns of funders, what typical elements are included in a grant proposal, and managing the relationship with a funder, whether the proposal was successful or rejected.
